Given that some patients coming through emergency rooms have very serious problems, minutes of time can sometimes mean the difference between life and death.

Scottsdale will also benefit from the opening of a third emergency room when Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak, a new medical facility, opens in November. The distribution of emergency medical care to a third facility should result in even greater improvements in ER care efficiency.
