Cinco de Mayo, Cyclo de Mayo and More Good Times in Scottsdale
Here in this part of the country, we have a special fondness for Cinco de Mayo. Scottsdale will host this year's Cinco de Mayo festival at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall on Friday, May 4th. The festival will include a performance by the Scottsdale International Club dancers, as well as music from other performers and arts & crafts, dancing, and lots more for the whole family.
Scottsdale is also hosting an event called Cyclo de Mayo, which is a series of 1o bicycle races held in the 5th Avenue area on Sunday, May 6th. The races take place on a half-mile, grand prix style course. There will be live bands and a kid zone. For more information, visit www.proconcyclingaz.com.
If bicycling isn't your thing, how about some frisbee? The Ultimate Frisbee Association is holding a tournament at CAP Basin Sports Complex. Ultimate frisbee is a sport similar to football, except the players pass a frisbee instead of a ball. You have to see it to believe it.
These are only a few of the activities going on this weekend around the city of Scottsdale, Arizona. This high energy city is always providing its citizens with plenty to do.
If you would like to learn how to make Scottsdale YOUR home, just give us a call!
